Hurray for Devry!

I'm so excited for and proud of Devry! He is in his second last semester of the auto technician program at school. One of the classes he is taking is an engine rebuild class. In order to pass the class he and a partner have to completely rebuild an engine, and the car has to start and run before the end of the semester. They have been working so hard all semester, and yesterday, with 2 weeks in the semester to spare they were the first group to start their car!! Their teacher said less than 10% of rebuilds start with no problems, and theirs had no problems! They did all the tests they needed to in the shop and everything worked great. They will take it for a test drive on Monday so hopefully everything continues to work great. Devry is such a hard worker! It was so nice to see him so excited yesterday, and with some of the stress of his classes gone.

It's a BOY!!!!

Its official! Our baby is a boy! My appointment yesterday went really well. We saw his boy parts right away on the ultrasound! The ultrasound tech went through all his body parts and organs to make sure everything looked normal. His looks perfectly healthy! She said he is probably about 10 inches long now. I have a DVD of the entire ultrasound but I can't figure out how to load it! If I figure it out, it will be on here. The baby was in a difficult position to get a good profile picture. He seemed to be asleep for most of the ultrasound, and didn't move around a ton, so he never got in a great position for a picture. This one is what the ultrasound tech was able to get.

This next picture is one I took when I ultrasounded myself at work. Our machine is not a very good one, but if you look close you can see his head with his hand up by it. He has been head down every time I have looked, and his hands are always up by his face. What a cutie!

And finally...I will post some belly pictures. I had to take them myself cuz Devry wasn't home and I wanted to post about the baby. This is me at 20 weeks and 5 days! I am starting to look a little pregnant! I am feeling him move all the time now! I am noticing he is always awake and very active in the afteroon, around 1-3, and then again from 8pm to 11pm every night. Other then that he's pretty quiet, with a few kicks here and there.

Now that we know he is a he...its time to pick out a name. Devry and I really like Payton. Next on the list is Jayden. Another option could be Denver. There aren't very many boys names that we agree on that aren't taken by a relative. We'd love some suggestions! So far Payton is the most likely choice, but it still could change if we find something we like more. His middle name will be Clark (my maiden name). Its so fun to know its a boy so we can start picking out names, clothes, and nursery stuff!

We are starting the renovations on our house next week. I am so excited to get going on it! Ill post pictures when its done!

2 Years!

Today Is our 2 year anniversary! I can't believe its been two years already. It seems like our wedding day was not too long ago. Although, I feel like I've been with Devry forever. He is such a wonderful husband. I am so lucky to have found him. He treats me so well, and spoils me rotten. We are both so excited to be taking the next step in our life and starting a family. We will find out for sure on Thursday if we are having a boy or girl. Anyways....heres a few pictures from when we were dating and our wedding day.

Getting ready for a baby.....boy??

Devry and I have been busy living life and getting ready for the baby. I celebrated my 22 birthday last week, and it was a lot of fun. Devry had classes all day so he sent me to get my hair done and a massage. So relaxing! Then he came home with dinner, ice cream cake and flowers. Some of his family were able to come over that evening for cake.

My delicious Oreo blizzard cake from Dairy Queen. It was so good!! Devry did a great picking it out!

Carter (nephew) thought it was pretty fun to climb into the hole in our entertainment center. We just recently ordered a new one for our new TV to fit on.

Last night work was pretty slow so I had Devry come to the hospital to be there while we ultrasounded the baby. After several minutes looking and 3 different peoples input we saw what was very likely a little boy part. It could have possible been the umbilical cord, but the more we looked the more it seemed to be a boy! I won't officially say it is until the professional tells me at my appointment on the 19th, but It would be a HUGE surpise at this point if it turned out to be a girl.

I havn't put any pictures of the dogs lately! They are both so big now and a lot of fun. Together they would make the perfect dog. Outside Dash is perfect, he follows us wherever we go and comes as soon as he is called. Daisy on the other hand still likes to run off and definately knows what she is doing is wrong. Inside, daisy is perfect! She is so calm and mellow and does her own thing. Dash is quite annoying inside. He HAS to be RIGHT next to our feet and whines when we leave the room without informing him. I trip over him at least once a day. Anyways, they are still best buds! Devry said the other day "I think if one of them dies we wil have to put the other one down cuz they couldn't survive without each other." It's pretty true.

I have been looking and deciding on baby furniture. I found the crib I want at Cribs.com. It is a beautiful cherry wood crib, but they are out of stock EVERYWHERE until april. I will try to order it then.

This is the pack n play we are going to buy, along with the matching stroller, carseat, swing, and highchair. Im very excited to get the nursery decorated so i can start ordering and setting up the baby's things.

This past weekend was a ton of fun because Devry's brother from Pocatello came for Macy's baby blessing. We all got to spend time together, which is always fun. Macy looked precious in her dress. I can't wait to see some of the pictures of her!
