I have been horrible at posting lately! Life has been crazy! I am now 17 weeks along in my pregnancy, and feeling great! I stopped feeling nauseous around 14 weeks, with mild spells from time to time. Since then I have been feeling great! I would put a picture of my 16 week baby belly....but I dont have one! haha I notice a tiny difference, but nothing that would show up in a picture! I had my 16 week doctors appointment a few days ago, and it went well. I love my doctors! Mostly because I know them both so well from work, and they treat me really well. My appointment was really quick, but Devry finally got to hear the baby's heartbeat (I have been cheating and listening to it at work for weeks). My 20 week appointment is March 19th, and they will do the ultrasound then to tell us what we are having. The Doctor I saw last week was suprised I didn't know already since I have free access to the ultrasound machine at work. 16 weeks is pretty early to be able tell, so I havn't looked yet. I probably will next week if its slower at work.
Other news.....Devry and I are officially homeowners! We finally were able to buy Devry's parents house. It feels good to have a house of our own. I am excited to start doing some redecorating to make it feel more like "ours". We will be putting new flooring/ carpet in most of the house, and repainting 2 rooms, plus the nursery. I am so excited to get started on our projects, and really want to have it done before the baby comes. I will be putting before and after pictures on here once I start getting it done.
Other then a growing baby and a new house, not too much else is new. Devry is busy with work and school, and I am working a ton and taking a few classes. Life is busy, but great!

Superbowl Sunday!
I have officially been corrupted by Devry. I have never watched football in my life until I met him. At first I complained when we had to watch it, then began to tolerate it, then started trying to understand it, then didn't mind watching it, and now...I look forward to it. Well this year for the superbowl, I even planned to have my friend Jen and her Husband Brandt over for dinner and the game.
Brandt is from New Mexico, which is where Devry served his mission. I decided to attempt to make Green chili chicken Enchiladas, which is a very popular New Mexico dish. Normally if there is something I havn't made before, I will make it first for Devry to see if it turns out, then for other people. Not this time. That day was the first time I had ever made them. Im happy to say that they turned out pretty good! They could have been a little spicier, but still tasted good!
Devry was a great help in the kitchen!
And.... time for the game. It was really fun to watch the game on our TV, in high Definition. It was a really fun day! The only downfall....The cardinals lost! boo. We were really only going for them because they were the underdog, but by the end of the game we felt they deserved to win. Oh well. It was still a ton of fun! Thanks Brandt and Jen for coming over!
