10 Months!

My cute little guys turned 10 months last week!!
They are so busy and SO fun right now!
I absolutely LOVE having twins! It definitely has lots of challenges, but having two babies to adore is wonderful! They are such good, sweet, happy babies! I am finding it so fun to see their similarities and differences as they get older.

Cohen is my big cutie!! He is a few pounds bigger then Kayson,  around 18 lbs. He eats literally twice as much as Kayson. He is a bottomless pit and gets very upset and demanding when he runs out of things to eat on his highchair. I haven't found any type of food he doesn't like! He is a little momma's boy, and always follows me around. He lights up when he sees me, and doesn't like when I leave. I feel SO important to this little guy, and I love it! Cohen is so funny! I can already tell he is going to have a sense of humor. He gives me cheesy smiles, is always doing things and giggling, know's the word NO, and when he hears it he does whatever he is doing faster and starts laughing hysterically when I stop him. He is a destructive little guy! ANYTHING he can find to pull down, empty, rip up, mess up, etc he goes right after it. Yesterday he pulled all the books off my bookshelf, and every time one would hit the ground he'd giggle like crazy. He is learning so much every day. He crawled before Kayson, around 8.5 months. He is SO fast now. He is pulling himself up on everything, starting to cruise along furniture, climbing stairs, and climbing on top of things. He gives me high five's, is starting to learn to wave, and knows a few sign's. He signs more, eat and milk.
Cohen is a great sleeper! He sleeps 12 hours at night, and takes two 1.5-2 hour naps a day. Sometimes he gets woken up by Kayson, and is NOT a happy camper when he's tired. This boy needs his sleep, and as long as he gets it, he is all smiles!
He has his two bottom teeth. I keep thinking more will pop through, but they never do!
I adore this guy! He really is so sweet. He loves to play and be crazy, but will cuddle up with me in a second. He gives me big drooly kisses and squeezes me tight. He loves playing with Payton, and laughs hysterically at him. He also adores his daddy! He say's Dada constantly. He will say mama occasionally, but mostly it's Dada. He blows raspberries like crazy and babbles constantly.
My favorite time with Cohen is right before bedtime. I will nurse him before putting him to bed, and always have such special moments with him. He will finish nursing, and cuddle up in my arms and smile up at me. I cuddle him for a minute or two, then give him kisses and lay him down. He goes to sleep so good! I love that boy!!!
Here are a few pictures of Cohen.

Emptying my bookshelf yesterday

Shoving his face with food....a common occurrence for this guy

Handsome boy ready for Church

This is his cheesy smile I get a few times a day. I LOVE it!

Climbing the stairs

Such a cutie!!

Kayson is my adorable little man! He is still so small! He weighs 15ish lbs.  He might be 16 by now. He is skinny, but still a healthy guy! He doesn't really eat much. He is getting better, and will feed himself more, but its a fight alot of the time. He is a happy little guy , and SO social! He loves being with people, and when people talk to him. Anywhere we go he is all smiles to anyone! He babbles a ton! He says Mama, Dada (and know what they mean), and a large variety of go's and ga's and baba's, etc. He has discovered his tongue, and always seems to be sticking it out. He's been a challenge for us when it comes to sleeping. He just doesn't seem to need as much sleep as I'd like him to get. He will regularly only nap for 30-40 minutes. It takes him a few hours to settle at night, and usually wakes up a few times. He doesn't really need anything, but just wakes up and fusses then goes back to sleep. He's been waking up at 5-6am, and wakes Cohen up. Silly guy! I sure do love him though! Even at 5 am!
He started crawling shortly after Cohen. He did the cutest caterpillar crawl for a long time! He'd get up on his hands and knees then launch himself forward. He'd repeat it over and over until he made it to where he wanted. When he started crawling for real, he would put his hands into fists and crawl on his knuckles. He hasn't stopped that either! We call him our little gorilla baby since that's what it looks like! It is so cute! He is pulling up on everything, and cruising a ton! He doesn't get into everything as much as Cohen, and is much more content playing with toys.
Kayson has his 2 bottom teeth...and I keep thinking more are working their way through. He is an awful teether! I feel so bad for him! He gets a fever, runny nose, and just cries and cries. He even threw up a couple times...but wasn't sick, just teething.
Kayson loves to play! Especially with people! He is in heaven if Devry, Payton or I play with him. Cohen still isn't his favorite playmate since the games are usually stealing toys or pacifiers, or hitting each other. I am sure that will change soon!
Kayson is a sweetie. He has such a tender little personality. He loves to cuddle, especially when he is tired, or not feeling the greatest. When he is struggling to settle into bed at nights, sometimes I can't resist, and pick him up and we hang out for a while. I think he loves the one on one time with me and/or Devry. He will let me rock him, and I love those moments. After a few minutes, he goes back to bed no problem, and falls asleep easily. I Adore this little man!!

Some pictures of Kayson

crazy hair after naptime. All smiles

Crawled into the corner of a table. He seems to do it a lot.

Ready for Church

He is working at walking with this little car.

Gorilla baby!! This is how he crawls anytime he's on carpet.

Having Twins is so much fun!
Don't get me wrong. It is hard. I am busy. ALL. THE. TIME.
The more mobile/active they get the harder they are!
But I am lucky they are such good babies!
They are happy, pleasant, easy going little guys!
I really can't believe how fast its gone!
10 months already?? It seems like its been maybe 5.
I am still nursing them, which is a huge blessing! Payton only nursed until 9 months..when he lost interest, and my milk supply went away. I was worried about that happening with the Twins. Even buying formula for 3 months would be too expensive with 2 babies. So far so good! They nurse very efficiently.. 5 minutes each. They nurse 4 times a day. 7am, 11am, 3pm and 7pm. It's a good schedule, and I am hoping it keeps up till they are a year, and we can avoid paying for formula all together.

Here are some pictures of all my boys!

Payton loves his brothers...and loves to play with them. Unfortunately he gets really rough!

Playing with the train table! THe twins grab everything they can reach and throw it on the ground. It drives payton nuts!
Cute smiley boys first thing int he morning.
Happy boys playing together after nap time!
RIght before baths. You can see how much skinnier Kayson is.
