School is such a bitter-sweet time. I really do love my classes, but I HATE all the work I have to do outside of class. The general "rule" is that for every hour you spend in class, you should be spending at least 2 hours on work outside of class. Blah. I had lab today, and my entire class ended up rolling on the floor laughing because of one of our instructors. Her portion of the lesson was transformed into a "Bear hunt" and we spent the entire time running around after her collecting different items to use. She is an older woman and makes absolutely NO sense half the time, but it was a lot of fun, and definately a lesson we will never forget. I felt like I should be in Grade Primary (thats Kindergarden for all you Americans). I'm definately learning alot in the nursing program. Being in the hospital is where I feel that I learn the most. I have patients of all ages and learn so many new things from each patient.
Devry and I are loving being married! It is such a wonderful time, being young married college students, broke as anything! I am so glad his family is close. I love them all, and it helps me not to feel so homesick.
